Starring: James Ransone, Shannyn Sossamon, Robert Daniel Sloan, Dartanian Sloan, Nicholas King
Plot: A young mother and her twin sons move into a rural house that’s marked for death (IMDB.com).
Overall: For a sequel and for what horror films are becoming these days, I thought it was decent. There were a few problems with the plot and some of the cohesiveness of the details, but it was an interesting perspective to not only bring back the deputy from the first film to carry on the storyline into the sequel, but also to dip into the origins of Buguhuul. It was difficult to like any of the characters which I feel is becoming a trend of recent horror films specifically. Overall, like I said—for a sequel it was decent. As a stand alone film, it definitely could’ve been much better. Also, I hated the ending because…well, it leaves it open for a third film.
