Starring: Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Jane Fonda, Adam Driver, Corey Stoll, Rose Byrne, Kathryn Hahn, Timothy Olyphant
Plot: After their father dies, four siblings are forced to return to their childhood home for a week with their mourning mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens.
Overall: I didn’t even know what this movie was about, to be honest. My dad said it was a good movie and just turned it on. It was a pleasant surprise—though with a cast like this, it’s sort of hard to mess it up. It was a very awkwardly funny, sentimental film. It sort of highlights the emotions you might experience when you come from a small town and a bit dysfunctional family.
