Starring: Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Scoot McNairy, Michelle Dockery, Nate Parker
Plot: An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account (IMDB.com).
Overall: Sort of feeling indifferent about this film because while it wasn’t a terrible movie—actually better than I thought it’d be, honestly—but wasn’t up to par for a Neeson film. I loved the cast, but I felt the plot was boring, unrealistic and the events that followed the initial threat was quite unrealistic as well. The action, great. The cast, great. The plot…eh. It just felt very…stiff? For an action/thriller and Neeson film.
