Starring: Najarra Townsend, Alice Macdonald, Matt Mercer, Simon Barrett
Plot: A girl contracts what she believes to be an STD, but turns out to be something much worse.
Rating:2/10
Overall: Okay, first and foremost, I believe that strong lead characters and a phenomenal ending are two of the most important components to a successful film. This one failed miserably in both departments. The lead character is legitimately stupid. While I understand how the entire situation could be terrifying and that denial might be a factor in her stupidity, but why risk your health/life for the sake of your pride? That’s just absurd to me! The ending—I don’t want to give spoilers, so I’m just going to say this: it’s a f—king joke. I sat there in the end scene and literally said out loud, “That better not be the ending,” and then the credits rolled. It was one of the most cliché endings and while the plot itself was actually kind of intriguing (I’m really into medicine), this ending just threw that out the window. It was one of the worst possible endings…and at this point, I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating and I’m sure some will disagree with me, but I was just SO MAD.
