Starring: Kevin Costner, Hailee Steinfeld, Amber Heard
Plot: After diagnosed with a progressive cancer, a former CIA agent trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter agrees to one last assignment for an experimental drug that could give him more time to live.
Overall: Extremely disappointing. It’s not terrible in the sense that it has a decent balance of action, humor and sentimentality. However, without putting spoilers, let me just say: there is one point in this film that made me want to bash my head through a wall, because I was so enraged that a writer would ever write such a horrendous scene that is supposed to be the resolution to the entire story/film and be okay with it.
