Overall: Okay, let me start with this fact: I do NOT believe in Paranormal Activity. Do I find some aspects of these films creepy? Of course. As a WHOLE though, they fail miserably in execution of the plot. The storyline itself is quite interesting to be honest, but for some reason when it is put “into action,” it fails to deliver that “true horror feeling.” I don’t believe in a lot of things that revolve around these films such as possession and witchcraft. I feel that most of these possession type films these days revolve around the hope that the fear of having no control will take over the actual fear that these aren’t actually true events or at least, seemingly don’t hold any tangible truth for the people who don’t believe in these things in the first place. This film itself was great at the end where it tied into the first few films, but it fails to attach itself to anything concrete in connection to the films or the story itself.
