Gravity (2013)

Starring: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Ed Harris

Plot: Dr. Ryan Stone is left to survive in space after her team and shuttle are destroyed in a catastrophe.

Rating: 6/10

Overall: I was indifferent about seeing this film. There were parts that were excruciatingly boring. Then there were about two minutes of sheer anxiety about four times during the film. The ending was…terrible. For suffering through a film that makes you go “Eh…” through its entirety, the ending was rather unrealistic in my opinion. I gave it a 6 for its effort, visual effects and my Sandra Bullock bias. I think it’d be hard for anybody to create a film about being stuck in space. I feel that alone comes with its limitations, so I give Alfonso Cuaron major props for trying.
