Rating: 7/10
Overall: The entire film is decent…until you reach the f—king ending. It’s one of those films that you appreciate for the originality (sort of like The Purge), but the ending just makes you so angry because it defeats the entire purpose of the film, which in turn makes you feel as if you wasted 93 minutes of your time gritting your teeth just to be like “WHAT THE F—K?!” at the end. Yep. So I guess if you want a chillingly good suspense/thriller that gives you that kind of reaction at the end, then I strongly recommend this. But if you absolutely hate films that make you feel that way, then don’t watch this film. Either way, consider yourself warned. (*NOTE: if you can’t watch Hostel without peeking through your fingers, you won’t make it through this one either)
